After meeting in June of 2012, Cole Tyler and Anthony Graziano starting writing and playing together and immediately clicked. In the beginning, the idea was based on becoming more of a garage rock band but their sound would quickly become their own. Once they brought in drummer Ryan Hottenrott, and bassist Dave Gambon, the band came together and things took off. With the line up solidified, the band would go on to record a self titled full length album followed by the Running From the Past record.

Before disbanding on January 1, 2017, The FORZ played gigs like the Forbes Under 30 Summit, and were on the ballot for the 59th Annual GRAMMY awards for Best New Artist and Best Performance by a Group or Duo for “Words For Me” and “Separate Ways.” They were a top 5 pick on WEMF's Boston Emissions twice in 2013, had their first album released by Wiener Records

and worked with Al Gomes of Big Noise.

With influences that swing as far off as The Zombies, Todd Rundgren, and The Raspberries and all the way back to their peers such as Foxygen, Ty Segall, Mac Demarco, and Tame Impala, Melody Motel bring a new feel to a classic genre. Lush with addicting progressions, vocal hooks, and alt rock edge, the record boasts the aesthetic of classic rock anthems.
